St. Mary’s University is launching a new pathway for ambitious undergraduates to accelerate their graduate education journey. The Master of Business Administration Early Acceptance Program offers qualifying incoming first-year and transfer students from any major the opportunity to receive conditional acceptance into the St. Mary’s MBA program at the time of undergraduate admission, creating a seamless transition from bachelor’s to graduate study.

Students who meet the program criteria will be fully admitted to the MBA program during their junior year and receive a $1,500 tuition scholarship in their first graduate semester, helping jump-start their business education with confidence and financial support.

This program is designed for high-achieving students who want to plan ahead and gain a competitive edge in their careers.


Undergraduate Requirements

Incoming students must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.75.

Transfer students must have a minimum college GPA of 3.5.

Qualified students will receive an invitation to apply by email.

MBA Admission

Conditional acceptance into the MBA Program is contingent on continued good standing and academic progress during your time at St. Mary’s. During the fall semester of your junior year, the MBA Program Director will assess the following criteria to consider you for full acceptance into the program:

Criteria for Business Majors:

  • 3.5 overall GPA
  • One recommendation from a business faculty member

Criteria for Non-Business Majors:

  • 3.5 overall GPA
  • One recommendation from a St. Mary’s faculty member or adviser
  • Statement of purpose expressing interest in pursing an MBA at St. Mary’s
