If you had to sum up St. Mary’s in one word, that word would be community. In addition to our campus community, we work hard to serve our San Antonio community.

Here are a few highlights:

Counseling Services

Family Life Center professor working with children

St. Mary’s offers low cost counseling and therapy to the public. We can help with depression, divorce recovery, school challenges, behavior problems and more through treatments such as play therapy, counseling and neurofeedback training. Learn about our counseling services in English or en Español.

Speakers Bureau

Carolyn Woo speaks at the Lin Great Speakers Lecture Series

Many of our professors volunteer to speak on a wide range of topics in schools across the San Antonio area. Learn from an expert about publishing bilingual picture books, find out about the Dead Sea Scrolls, select a guest speaker in Medieval European history or dozens of other scholarly topics. See guest speaker topics and contact us to schedule a speaker in your classroom.

Summer Camps

A wide variety of summer camps are held each year, from ballet and basketball to robotics and JAVA programming. Most camps are aimed at middle school or high school students, though some are offered for younger audiences. Read more about our summer camps.
