Investing in Tomorrow’s Business Leaders

The Future Leaders Internship Program is a flexible stipend for new business students in the Greehey School of Business to help pursue their first internship. This innovative program supports students in obtaining internships by recognizing the need for all types of support to be successful.

We know that internships — once considered optional — are now almost a requirement to help you land your first job after graduation. The program is intended to bridge the gap between education and professional opportunity by expanding access to internships that shape purpose-driven business professionals. At St. Mary’s, our goal is to create equitable pathways to meaningful career experiences for all our students by investing in tomorrow’s business leaders — one internship at a time.

Stipend for Success

Every new, eligible business student will have access to an internship stipend (up to $1,000) that can be used after their first year to facilitate their first internship. These stipends can help students purchase professional attire, cover transportation costs, attend networking activities, or offset living costs associated with an internship.

Some exclusions may apply.
