Developmental or technical coursework is not considered as part of your GPA, so please speak with St. Mary’s Office of Admission to determine your eligibility.
* Meeting the GPA requirements does not guarantee admission; we consider every application on a case-by-case basis.
Alamo College Transfer Credits
To determine which credits will transfer, you will need to choose a major or degree program.
We accept a maximum of 66 transfer credit hours in lower-division (1000 and 2000 level) general education and specific field of study curriculum courses from the Alamo Colleges.

| Foreign Language – only required for Finance & Risk Management, Management, and Marketing majors | 6 | This requirement is satisfied through one of five ways: (1) One 3-hour course in any language at the 3000 level or above, with a grade of B or better; (2) Two courses (1311 and 1312) in a language not previously studied; (3) Two courses (2311 and 2312) in a language previously studied at the high school or college level; (4) Qualifying scores on an AP or CLEP exam, or both the ACTFL OPI and WPT exams; (5) US Business in an Interdependent World (IB 3321) will meet 3 of the 6 hours required.
