About the Global Leadership Academy at St. Mary’s University

The Global Leadership Academy (GLA) is designed to give students the opportunity to explore career pathways, develop leadership skills, enhance problem-solving abilities, foster global citizenship and inspire future growth. Students achieve this through various activities.

Students will gain hands-on experience through faculty-led projects and simulations and build confidence through workshops rooted in the Marianist values of service and collaboration. They will prepare to engage as leaders in a diverse and interconnected world and strengthen cross-cultural understanding. At St. Mary’s, we encourage innovative thinking, ethical decision-making and a commitment to community, preparing students for future studies and careers.
