Civic Engagement and Career Development

Civic Engagement and Career Development is a comprehensive department that meets students and alumni at all stages of their development. Our staff provides holistic, strategic, and innovative advising services, programs, and resources that allow participants to succeed in their career development while giving back to the community in which they reside. We work with corporate organizations and not-for-profit agencies to provide opportunities for St. Mary’s students and alumni. Together with our faculty, we assist in bringing the classroom to life.

Students spend a day volunteeringThrough internships, job shadow opportunities, service learning courses, immersion trips, or the Marianist Leadership Program, the Center provides students and alumni with the opportunities, training, and education needed to succeed as active, informed, and engaged citizens.
