Welcome

The engineering department at St. Mary's University offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering and Computer Applications, Industrial Engineering and Engineering Science.

Engineering Students

Each student is guided and encouraged to grow as a whole person, develop her or his intellectual capabilities and strong moral convictions, and appreciate the value of community service. A primary purpose of the department is to provide excellence and relevance in engineering education, research, and public service to enhance the quality of life and the economic wellbeing of the citizens of the local and global communities. To promote excellence in engineering education, the students are taught to develop skills in critical thinking and quantitative analysis. They are encouraged to pursue research and other scholarly activities, trained to enhance their oral and written communication skills, and nurtured to become competent and socially responsible professionals.
