What is your favorite St. Mary’s tradition?

Homecoming! It’s always great to welcome back alumni to campus and there are many fun events that take place during this time.

What would you tell someone considering moving to San Antonio?

Explore! San Antonio is a melting pot of different cultures and histories. Every part of town has their own identity, but adding all pieces together makes San Antonio the special place it is.

What is your advice to students going through the college search process?

Visit the campuses you’re interested in. What may look good on paper may be a different experience when you set foot to campus. Look for where you feel welcomed, comfortable and where you can succeed at.

Favorite place to eat off campus?

Mi Tierra. Although it is designed for tourists, it captures the culture and celebratory nature of San Antonio.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by the continued opportunities to help shape the trajectory of the lives of others.

Who is someone you admire, and why?

My family for sure. They have all given so much so that I could have many of the opportunities I’ve had.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I am a huge concert goer, going to at least a few shows a month and ranging from many different genres.

What’s the best concert you ever attended?

Too many to count! From Kings of Leon, to Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, Hozier and more!
