St. Louis Scholars Award
The St. Louis Scholars Award is a scholarship program for top Catholic high school students from the greater St. Louis region. St. Mary’s is pleased to offer a $5,000 annual scholarship to select students currently attending a St. Louis Catholic high school and are interested in attending a Catholic, Marianist university. This award can be added to any academic merit scholarship offer that a student is awarded as part of the general admission process.
- A $5,000 annual, stackable scholarship for four years (eight semesters) of full-time, undergraduate study
- Awarded to first time entering freshmen from the greater St. Louis area, preference will be given to students from the area’s Catholic high schools
- Renewable for four years if the recipient maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Recipients are selected based on their academic achievement and commitment to the Marianist charism and Characteristics of Marianist Education
Steps to Apply
- Complete the online St. Mary’s University Admission Application by March 1.
- Submit a two-page essay explaining why you are interested in pursuing a degree at a Catholic and Marianist university.
- Provide two letters of reference from either two high school officials or one high school official and one church or parish leader.
