For students interested in careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, optometry, chiropractic, podiatry, veterinary medicine, allied health professions or nursing, St. Mary’s offers a host of programs to get you into your field of choice.

Study Nursing at St. Mary’s

The newly established Department of Nursing at St. Mary’s offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The program prepares practice-ready, entry-level professional nurses by integrating a liberal arts education and Catholic and Marianist values with the skills and science of nursing. The Nursing Program is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and the Texas Board of Nursing.

Center for Cyber Excellence

NSADHS

The Center for Cyber Excellence at St. Mary’s is a collaborative venture drawing from the expertise of faculty and staff within the University. The Center provides guidance and general cyber defense information and promotes collaboration and interaction with other students, faculty and programs.

St. Mary’s, through the Master of Science in Cybersecurity program, has been designated by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD).
