Biography
Teresa Villegas serves as the Managing Director of MBA and Graduate Programs at the Greehey School of Business. She is a results-driven enrollment management and admissions leader with more than a decade of experience in higher education recruitment, outreach, enrollment strategy and partnership development.
Prior to joining the Greehey School of Business, Villegas served as Director of Enrollment Management and Outreach at the University of the Incarnate Word, providing administrative and operational leadership across multiple departments, including Admissions, Processing, Professional and Continuing Education, DBA programs and consortium initiatives. In this role, she led the development and execution of comprehensive multi-year and annual enrollment plans, guided new market expansion efforts and implemented innovative outreach strategies to recruit, enroll and retain both graduate and undergraduate students.
Throughout her career, Villegas has held admissions and enrollment leadership roles at several higher education institutions, consistently exceeding recruitment and enrollment goals while mentoring admissions teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Earlier professional experience includes international education management in Shenzhen, China, where she supported curriculum development and corporate training for global clients. She also spent six years in financial services at Wells Fargo Bank, earning top-producer recognition while maintaining FINRA licensure.
Villegas holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of the Incarnate Word and Argosy University.
Fluent in Spanish, she brings a collaborative and student-centered approach to enrollment management and institutional growth. As a first-generation college graduate, Villegas is deeply committed to expanding access to education for learners of all backgrounds. Born and raised in San Antonio, she remains dedicated to her family and the local community.
