Biography
Gianfranco Semino joined the Greehey School of Business faculty in 2015. He received his bachelor’s and MBA degrees from St. Mary’s University and his M.S. from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Semino currently works for USAA in the Business Strategy and Analytics team within the Chief Financial Office. He oversees multiple projects involving the use of data to construct narratives to help make more informed business decisions. Prior to joining USAA, Semino worked for a national consulting firm providing analytical support to private and government agencies across various industries, including banking and insurance, construction and hospitality, agricultural, energy, and consumer goods.
He enjoys learning, traveling, theater and jazz. He is passionate about teaching and helping students grow, not just as business leaders but also as conscious citizens of the world.
