Anndrea Brown is an accomplished human resources leader and adjunct professor at St. Mary’s University. She currently teaches Human Resources Management as part of the Greehey School of Business, bringing extensive experience in human resources strategy, organizational leadership, talent management and employee engagement into the classroom

Professionally, Brown has held progressive HR leadership roles supporting large, complex organizations and currently serves as a Director of Field Human Resources and Recruiting for a nationally recognized Texas-based company. Throughout her career, Brown has led large-scale organizational initiatives including workforce transformations, organizational restructures, HR technology implementation, talent and retention strategies, leadership development and enterprise-wide people programs. Her experience includes partnering with senior business leaders, leading HR teams and supporting workforces of thousands of employees across multiple markets.

Brown earned her Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from St. Mary’s and her bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in International Business from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She also holds the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.

As an adjunct professor, Brown is passionate about connecting academic concepts with practical business application. Her teaching approach incorporates real-world examples, case studies and contemporary workplace challenges to help students develop the critical thinking, leadership and human resources skills needed for successful careers.

In addition to her professional and academic work, Brown is actively involved in community and nonprofit leadership and serves on the Board of Directors of ACTS Missions.
