Biography
Ramish Noori is a professor and researcher with over a decade of experience in political science and international relations. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in International Development, with a research focus on political development and security studies. His academic expertise spans political thought, democratic theory, International Relations theory, comparative politics, international law and post-conflict governance.
At St. Mary’s University, Noori teaches undergraduate and law school courses. His teaching is grounded in both theoretical knowledge and extensive field experience. He has written extensively on peace processes, conflict resolution and governance in multi-ethnic societies, particularly in the context of Afghanistan.
Noori has held several senior academic positions, including serving as President and Vice President of Edrak University, where he led academic planning, strategic development and curriculum design for over thousands of students across 16 disciplines.
He is the author of two unpublished books: Globalization and Political Development in Post-Taliban Afghanistan and Multi-ethnic Afghanistan and Consensual Democracy. He has published over 10 peer-reviewed articles and essays in academic journals and leading Afghan media outlets. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of Academic and Scientific Research Journal of Edrak University and Assistant Editor of Medras-e-Kherad Quarterly Journal.
Noori is multilingual and fluent in English, Farsi, Pashto, Urdu and Korean. His work bridges academic scholarship with real-world impact and he remains committed to fostering critical inquiry, global understanding and democratic values in the classroom and beyond.
