Earn a Certificate in Medical Genomics from St. Mary’s

Starting in Fall 2026, pending SACSCOC* approval, the Graduate Certificate in Medical Genomics will equip students with the knowledge and skills to decode the human genome and apply that understanding to real-world health care challenges. Students will gain knowledge in the rapidly growing field of precision medicine that will place them in a position to find careers in high-tech, analytical and medical-related fields.

Medical genomics helps us understand how the inherent variations within the human genome impact disease, medical treatments, responses to drugs and other medical outcomes — ultimately to advance precision medicine.
