All university facilities are reserved for use by the university community and its guests. A "Facility Reservation Form" is submitted to the appropriate person and approval signatures must be obtained.
The Physical Plant Department representative will sign the "Facility Reservation Request" form after the event organizer reviews the following:
For outdoor venues, Physical Plant will set out trash barrels prior to the event and empty them the following weekday. Any additional cleanup or haul-off of trash will require a service charge. Tennis Courts:Tennis courts at the Alumni Athletics and Convocation Center and adjacent to Treadaway Hall are reserved through the AACC Member Services desk. Athletic Fields:The use of athletic fields is reserved through the Athletic Director. Field preparation, games services, portable fencing and toilets, setup, and cleanup will require a service charge. Setup of Meeting Rooms:Physical Plant Housekeeping Division will set up tables and chairs for events. More information is available in the Physical Plant Services Guide under "Set-ups for Functions". Temporary Signs:Temporary directional signs will be set up upon request and indicate the building name or space on campus. Special signs can be provided for $35 each. Please allow two weeks for design and creation of special signs. For more information, please refer to the Exterior Directional Sign Standard document. Electrical Power:Electrical Power (110-volt, 20-amp circuit) is available in most outdoor venues at no additional charge. Special electrical power setups can be provided as a departmental service. The cost can range from $50 to $500. See Physical Plant Services Guide. A portable generator can be provided for $200 per day. Please provide approval two weeks in advance. Special Setups:Plant displays can be provided as a departmental service. The cost can range from $25 to $100. Please provide approval two weeks in advance. During a planned event, the Physical Plant Department will respond to requests from the University Police Department for emergency services. |
