Participation Criteria
St. Mary's University (StMU) students studying at either Chaminade University of Honolulu (CUH) or the University of Dayton (UD) must meet the following participation criteria:
- in at least second year of study at StMU
- 30 semester hours or more accumulated at StMU
- minimum GPA of 2.5
- no record of serious disciplinary problems
- written approval from academic adviser
- submit completed application no later than the last day of priority registration semester prior to the exchange semester to the Registrar's Office
- fulfillment of registration requirements with host university
St. Mary's University (StMU) students studying at either Chaminde University of Honolulu (CUH) or the University of Dayton (UD) should be aware of the following admissions, housing, tuition, and finanacial guidelines:
- contact the host university for admissions and course offering information
- Chaminade University (CHU) - www.chaminade.edu
- University of Dayton (UD) - www.udayton.edu
- contact the host university for housing arrangements
- student pays tuition and fees of host university
- employee-dependent tuition rebate not applicable for exchange semester
- tuition exchange benefit not applicable for exhange semester
- financial aid, including StMU unfunded aid and applicable government grants, often transferable
- cost of attendance at CHU or UD adjusted for StMU student
St. Mary's University (StMU) students studying at either Chaminde University of Honolulu (CUH) or the University of Dayton (UD) must fulfill the following academic requirements:
- a grade of C- or better necessary to achieve course credit
- full-time status (course load of 12-18 semester hours)
- approval of course selections by StMU
St. Mary's University (StMU) students studying at either Chaminde University of Honolulu (CUH) or the University of Dayton (UD) are subject to the following limitations:
- participation in exchange program may not exceed two semesters/sessions
- time at CUH or UD not applicable to StMU residency requirements
When all arrangements have been finalized, contact the Registrar's Office so that proper entry is made on your Fall or Spring registration.
