Biography

Priscilla Reyna-Vasquez is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, Registered Play Therapist-SupervisorTM and Board Certified-TeleMental Health Counselor. She has extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and specializes in working with children and adolescents using play therapy, sandtray therapy and the expressive arts. Priscilla has served as Clinical Director of Outpatient Services for a mental health hospital and has experience across a range of community mental health settings, including private practice. She has presented locally, nationally and internationally on topics such as TeleMental Health in Counseling, Play Therapy, Teleplay Therapy and Expressive Techniques in Counseling. She currently serves on the Ethics and Practices Guidelines Committee for the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and is a member of APT’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force, helping to develop ethical guidelines and best practices for play therapists. She is also a graduate of the APT Leadership Academy and previously served as Regional Liaison and Director for the Texas Association for Play Therapy (TxAPT). Outside of her professional life, Priscilla enjoys traveling, golfing and cherishes her time with her daughter and husband.
