Biography

Catherine Sporer joined St. Mary’s University in Fall 2021 as an Instructor of Mathematics.  She was a high school mathematics teacher with North East ISD in San Antonio before pursuing an M.S. degree and working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at San Antonio. 

After completing this M.S. degree in Mathematics, she worked as an adjunct instructor with Northwest Vista College before joining St. Mary’s University. At St. Mary’s, Sporer teaches courses in the business mathematics sequence and in the calculus sequence.
