Biography

Captain Ariel Rogers was born and raised in northern Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech University where she commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Aviation Branch in May of 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.

After graduating Aviation Basic Officer Leaders Course (AVBOLC), the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) Course and Initial Entry Rotary Wing Training (UH-72 Lakota Qualification, UH-60 Blackhawk Track) in 2019, CPT Rogers was assigned to fourth Combat Aviation Brigade in Fort Carson, Colorado where she first served as a Platoon Leader for Alpha Company, 3-4 Assault Helicopter Battalion.

Captain Rogers then transitioned to serve as the Assistant S3, Deliberate Operations (DELOPS) Planner and Battle Captain for Task Force Mustang for their CENTCOM deployment in support of Operation Resolute Support and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in 2020. After redeploying from CENTCOM in 2021, CPT Rogers continued to serve as an Assistant S3 for 2-4 General Support Aviation Battalion for 9 months. In 2022, she was selected to serve as the fourth Combat Aviation Brigade Command Group Adjutant for 1 year. From 2023 to 2024, she served as the commander of Alpha Company, 3-4 Assault Helicopter Battalion.

Captain Rogers is married to her husband Steven and they have two wonderful daughters, Amelia and Avery.
