The upcoming installment of Community Conversations at St. Mary’s will feature entrepreneur and philanthropist Red McCombs, who will discuss where San Antonio is coming from and what’s ahead.

The event will be Thursday, Feb. 28, at 5:30 p.m. The conversation will be moderated by St. Mary’s University President Thomas Mengler, J.D., and will include a question and answer session with the audience. Community Conversations will be held on the St. Mary’s campus in the University Center, Conference Room A. The event is free and open to the public.

The Community Conversations series is a part of the Institute for Public Administration, Politics and Public Policy at St. Mary’s University, which is housed within the St. Mary’s Graduate School. One of the primary goals of the Institute is to develop outreach programs that foster dialogue between the University, the public, government agencies and nonprofits to address important public issues.

March 21, 2013: Women of the San Antonio City Council, Past and Present (in recognition of Women’s History Month)

April 23, 2013: Bringing Environmental Justice to the U.S.-Mexico Border, featuring journalist and author Krista Schlyer
