San Antonio – St. Mary’s will have to wait one extra day to settle the Heartland Conference regular-season title.
Due to the possibility of rain, the “Battle of the Saints” series between St. Mary’s and St. Edward’s has been moved to Saturday-Sunday in Austin, Texas. The teams will play a doubleheader at 11 a.m. Saturday, following by a single game at 12 p.m.
The squads enter the regular-season-ending series tied atop the Heartland Conference with identical 10-2 records in league play.
