The St. Mary’s University School of Law Moot Court team of Stephen Bachran and Marisa Resendez placed second in the 2012 Mack Kidd Administrative and Public Law Moot Court Competition last weekend in Austin. Bachran won the Best Brief Award and was Runner-Up Best Oralist.
They lost the final round to a team from Baylor University School of Law before a distinguished panel from the Third Court of Appeals.
Brad Wheeler and Naomi Howard reached the semi-finals at the competition, making St. Mary’s the only school to have both of its teams still competing in the final four. This was the first external competition for all four of these second-year law students. The team is coached by Ricky Poole.
