San Antonio — Fans will have to wait a little longer than expected to watch their Rattlers open the 2011 baseball season.
Because of the harsh weather that is expected to sweep the area in the coming days, Tuesday’s season opener against Abilene Christian University has been postponed to March 1. The game will begin at 4 p.m.
The Rattlers will now begin their season Friday, when they will delve right into Heartland Conference competition against Newman University. The game is slated to begin at 3 p.m.
