One inning later the Rattlers blew the game wide open. Lauren Miller (Jr., Baytown, Texas) singled to lead off and two outs later, pinch hitter Shelly Lee (Fr., San Antonio) walked. That brought up Chelsea Wenske (Jr., Shiner, Texas) smashed her first homerun of the season to make the score 4-1. In the seventh inning the Rattlers put five of the first six batters on to score four insurance runs for the final margin.

Taryn Munoz (Sr., Bulverde, Texas) picked up her sixth win against no losses this season, tossing her fifth complete game in six starts. She allowed just 1 run on 5 hits and no walks. Hall took the loss, allowing 8 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks in 6 1/3 innings of work. She fell to 0-3 this season.
