Merry Christmas! At St. Mary’s we celebrate Christmas with a variety of traditions. The most visual is the life-size nativity scene by the Barrett Memorial Bell Tower. If you find yourself near campus this month, please stop in and see it.
Faculty, staff and students are getting into the spirit of giving by donating toys to St. Mary’s Miracle on 36th Street Community Christmas. Gifts will benefit local families at the Chaminade Apartments, Holy Rosary Parish, Loma Park Elementary School, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and the University Park Neighborhood Association.
Here are a few of our Christmas and holiday events. We hope you come and celebrate with the St. Mary’s family.
Las Posadas – A reenactment of the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem.
Mass and Christmas reception – In celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, please join us for Mass and the annual Office of Mission and Identity Christmas reception.
Merry Christmas from St. Mary’s University!
