GOODWELL, Okla. – Samantha Weber had 16 kills and eight blocks, helping St. Mary’s University to a 30-15, 27-30, 30-26, 30-22, win over Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Heartland Conference volleyball action Thursday night at Oscar Williams Fieldhouse.

Weber (Sr., Fort Lupton, Colo.) totaled 16 kills against just three attack errors for a .464 attack percentage in the win. She led all players with eight blocks in the match as well. Danielle Mittelstadt (Fr., San Antonio) also reached double figures in kills with 12. She added 12 digs for her first double-double of the season. Defensively Valerie Teter (Jr., San Antonio) had 20 digs for the Rattlers.

As a team the Rattlers had 56 kills against 18 attack errors for a .277 attack percentage. They also had 13 service aces, led by five from Kori McCarver (Fr., San Antonio), and 11 blocks.

With the win the Rattlers are now 11-11 overall and 5-3 in Heartland Conference play this season. Oklahoma Panhandle State is 1-27, 0-8. St. Mary’s will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Wichita, Kan., to face Newman University in  a Heartland Conference match starting at 2 p.m.
