Candidates in the San Antonio City Council races for Districts 5 and 7 seats will participate Monday, March 19 in a forum sponsored by the St. Mary’s University chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, a political science honor society.

In the District 5 race, candidates Raymond Zavala and David Medina Jr. have confirmed their participation. In the District 7 race, incumbent Elena Gujardo and Justin Rodriguez have confirmed they will participate.

The event, which is open to the public, will be moderated and will allow questions from the audience. The city elections will be held May 12.
