San Antonio — Don’t look now, but the Lady Rattlers have found their rhythm. After beginning the season 2-3, St. Mary’s has compiled an impressive winning streak, winning 11 of their last 13 games.

On Monday, the Lady Rattlers swept West Texas A&M, winning back-to-back games, 7-1 and 10-0.

In Game 1, St. Mary’s offense caught fire after West Texas A&M tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth. In the bottom of the inning, the Lady Rattlers scored three runs, followed by another three run effort in the next inning.

The Lady Rattlers (19-10) dominated in Game 2, which was stopped short because of the run rule.

St. Mary’s hosts Texas Women’s University in doubleheader action on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the St. Mary’s softball field.
