Baseball games at Tarleton State delayed/relocated
Due to this week’s rainy weather, the St. Mary’s baseball team’s doubleheader at Tarleton State scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 was moved to Sunday, with the with the first pitch scheduled for 1 pm. Saturday’s doubleheader at Tarleton State was moved to the campus of Dallas Baptist University. The Rattlers will play Tarleton State at noon and #18 Dallas Baptist at 6 p.m.
The Rattlers enter this weekend with a 6-2 record. St. Mary’s defeated Tarleton State earlier this season, 3-2, at St. Mary’s during the Woodfield Suites Invitational.
ACU softball tournament delayed one day
The Texas rains also delayed Abilene Christian University’s annual Diamond Dame Classic one day. The new schedule is as follows:
Saturday
1 p.m. — Emporia State vs. Abilene Christian
3 p.m. — St. Mary’s vs. Abilene Christian
5 p.m. — St. Mary’s vs. Emporia State
Sunday
Noon — St. Mary’s vs. Emporia State
2 p.m. — Emporia State vs. Abilene Christian
4 p.m. — St. Mary’s vs. Abilene Christian
