Biography
Maria A. Smith is the Director of the Liturgical Choir, also known as the St. Mary’s University Chapel Choir. Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a minor in music and an Master of Arts in Theology from St. Mary’s University, and an Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Oblate School of Theology. In May 2026 she completed her Doctor of Ministry from Oblate School of Theology. She is also a member of the National Pastoral Musicians Association and has given workshops in liturgical music nationally for over 25 years.
