St. Mary’s University School of Law students netted top rankings among 24 teams at the American Bar Association’s Regional Negotiation Competition at the University of Oklahoma Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.

The St. Mary’s External Advocacy Program (EAP) Negotiation Team of Austin Hagee and Hunter Moose initially tied for first place before a tiebreaker separated the top two teams by two points.

Hagee and Moose will represent St. Mary’s at the ABA National Negotiation Competition in Houston in February.

The team of Chris Guymon and Gerald Arismendez placed fourth.

St. Mary’s was the only school to have both its teams compete in the final round. Adjunct faculty member Allen Craddock, who teaches negotiations, coached both teams.
