Greehey School of Business student Kimberly Pruske has received a competitive scholarship from the Accounting Education Foundation of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).

The TSCPA, a nonprofit, voluntary, professional organization representing Texas CPAs, honored Pruske, a Greehey MBA student with a concentration in Professional Accountancy, with a $2,500 scholarship in December.

Pruske was one out of 50 awardees to receive the scholarship. A total of 76 applicants, from 24 universities, were part of the applicant pool.

The Accounting Education Foundation strives to enhance the quality of education in accounting and to contribute to a high level of competence within the profession. The assistance from TSCPA members and businesses have provided more than $4.4 million in support of the foundation and other programs since 1957.
