San Antonio – Jenna Paul needed little time to make an impact on a collegiate volleyball court.

The St. Mary’s freshman outside hitter was named to the All-Tournament Team for her performance last weekend, where she helped lead the Rattlers to a 2-2 showing at the St. Mary’s/Hilltopper Volleyball Tournament Classic at Bill Greehey Arena.

Paul, a native of Alvin, Texas, averaged 2.08 kills per set while hitting .292. She added a team-high eight service aces and also blocked four shots to go along with averaging 1.08 digs per game.

Angelo State’s Shelbi Good was named the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament, while Rambelle teammates Alex Woolsey and Maddie Huth joined her on the All-Tournament Team. Also making the team were Colorado State-Pueblo’s Angela McAdams and Kacy Griffin, Abilene Christian’s Sara Oxford and St. Edward’s Libero Michelle Hundt.

St. Mary’s will return to the court this Thursday when they host Dallas Baptist in the Heartland Conference opener at 7 p.m. at Bill Greehey Arena.
