ORLANDO, Fla. – The final round of the Golfweek Invitational was quite literally a washout for the St. Mary’s men’s golf team.
A rain delay pushed back Tuesday’s third and final round, forcing the Rattlers to withdraw from the tournament due to schedule constraints.
The Rattlers came into the final round in 16th place after shooting 607 on Monday.
Jeff Rein (Sr., San Antonio) led the way for St. Mary’s with a 4-over-par 148 through two rounds, good enough to enter Tuesday tied for 27th place.
Fellow senior and San Antonio native Matt Vela shot 149 over the first two rounds.
