San Antonio – Five St. Mary’s tennis players have earned at-large All-Heartland Conference honors.
Marcin Marczewski (Jr., Warsaw, Poland), Guy Rutten (Sr., Almelo, Netherlands) and Andrej Klipa (So., Belgrade, Serbia) all earned the honor from the men’s team, while women’s tennis stars Cimen “Mimi” Soy (Sr., Gothenburg, Sweden) and Huong Huynh (Jr., Houston) also earned the honors.
The All-Conference teams, which included 16 student-athletes for both the men’s and women’s teams, were unveiled Friday.
The St. Mary’s men’s and women’s tennis teams saw their seasons end in hard-fought matches in the semifinals of the Heartland Conference Tournament.
