San Antonio – The St. Mary’s University-St. Edward’s University baseball series, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at V.J. Keefe Memorial Stadium, has been postponed until Saturday and Sunday, due to field conditions.

Heavy rains in the San Antonio area over the last week have left the playing surface of V.J. Keefe Memorial Stadium very wet and the teams agreed on Friday to move the series back one day. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, starting at 1 p.m., then follow that up with a single game on Sunday, starting at noon.

St. Mary’s is currently 3-4 overall and 3-4 in Heartland Conference play. St. Edward’s is 5-2 overall, 5-2 in Heartland Conference play and has won five straight games. St. Mary’s won six of the seven meetings between the teams last season, including all four at V.J. Keefe Memorial Stadium.
