Oklahoma City – Storming back to finish as St. Mary’s University’s top performer in the tournament, senior women’s golfer Ursula Perez shot a 77 in the final round of the UCO/Mahogany Classic on Tuesday.

Perez, a graduate of Burbank High School in San Antonio, recorded a two-round total of 157 to finish in a tie for 32nd place.

Her performance helped the Rattlers secure a tie for 14th place as a team with a score of 653.

Alejandra Cantu (Jr., Mission, Texas) also recorded a sub-80 score Tuesday, carding a 78 to finish at 161.

Cami Ferguson (So., Newcastle, Calif.), the Rattlers’ leader after one round, finished six strokes behind Cantu at 167.

Central Oklahoma won the tournament.
