San Antonio – He goes by “All-Day D.A.,” but this week you can just call David Anthony Oliver “Player of the Week.”

The St. Mary’s University sophomore has been named the Heartland Conference Men’s Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday morning.

Oliver, a San Antonio native who graduated from Stevens High School, earned the honors after netting a goal and getting an assist in last week’s 3-2 loss to St. Edward’s University.

On his goal, Oliver took a pass in space and scored from 18 yards out for his second goal of the season. His assist helped St. Mary’s build an early 2-0 lead against the Hilltoppers.
