Portales, N.M. – Adam “Chuy” Muro’s 76th-minute goal proved the difference in a 2-1 victory against Eastern New Mexico University on Sunday.
Muro (So., San Antonio) scored on a free kick that deflected off the wall to propel the Rattlers to their third victory of the season.
The non-conference triumph helped St. Mary’s improve to 3-8 on the year.
David Anthony Oliver (So., San Antonio) also scored for the Rattlers, finding the back of the net in the 58th minute to even the score at 1-1.
The goals marked the first of the year for both Muro and Oliver.
