He had hits in all three games last week, including two games with multiple base hits. He had the first 2-homerun game of his career on Sunday in the Rattlers come-from-behind win over the Jets. Morrow leads the Rattlers with a .457 average, including 4 doubles, 2 homeruns, 17 RBI and 8 runs scored. He is currently on an eight-game hitting streak and has hits in 11 of 13 games. Morrow is the first Rattler to earn Hitter of the Week honors from the Heartland Conference this season. The award also marked the third straight week that a Rattler has received recognition from the league. Alfonso Maldonado (Sr., Laredo, Texas) and Matt Holland (Jr., Shreveport, La.) have each been named Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Morrow and the Rattlers will return to action on Friday, when they travel across town to face the University of the Incarnate Word in the first day of a key Heartland Conference series. The Rattlers are 8-5 overall and 8-5 in Heartland Conference play. UIW is 13-2 overall and 13-0 in Heartland Conference play.
