San Antonio–The St. Mary’s University basketball teams had their schedules for this weekend’s NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournaments finalized on Monday.

The eight-seeded Rattler men’s team will face host and top-seeded Tarleton State University at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night in Stephenville. The Rattlers (17-12 overall) take a five-game win streak into the tournament, including their 79-70 overtime win against St. Edward’s in the Heartland Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday night in Denton. The Rattlers advance to the NCAA Division II Postseason for the fourth time overall, and the first time since the 2004-05 season. If the Rattlers win their game against Tarleton State they will advance to the semifinals of the tournament, which will take place on Sunday at 7 p.m. The South Central Region Tournament championship will be on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available for the tournament in either a full-tournament package or single-session price. General admission tournament passes are $25, while tournament passes for students with a valid ID are $10. Single session tickets for general admission are $7 and $3 for students.

The sixth-seeded Rattler women will put their 24-game win streak on the line when they face the University of the Central Oklahoma at 1 p.m. on Friday in Canyon. If the Rattlers win their first round game they will advance to the semifinals on Saturday at 6 p.m. The tournament championship will be on Monday at 7 p.m. The berth in the South Central Region tournament is the third all-time for the Rattlers and the second in the last three years. St. Mary’s won the Heartland Conference Tournament on Saturday night in Denton with a 43-37 victory against St. Edward’s University. St. Mary’s rolled through the Heartland Conference, sweeping all 16 games this season against Heartland Conference opponents, including the two games in the Heartland Conference Tournament.

Tickets for the women’s tournament are also available in single-session or full tournament packages. For a single-session reserved seat the cost is $10, while general admission is $7 and students are $4. A full-tournament pass is $24 for reserved seating, $20 for general admission and $12 for youth/student/seniors.
