San Antonio – St. Mary’s University and St. Edward’s University will meet in a pair of important Heartland Conference games Saturday in Austin. But the games will carry further meaning as they will be broadcast live over the internet by College Sports Television (CSTV).

The audio and video of the games will be broadcast live, free of charge by CSTV. The women’s game will start at 6 p.m., while the men’s contest is set to tip off at 8 p.m.

The game already carries with it tremendous conference implications on both the men’s and women’s sides. For the men, the Rattlers stand one-half game out of first place with a 2-1 record in HC play. St. Edward’s is in first place with a 3-1 record, while Incarnate Word is 3-2. The Rattlers are 9-7 overall after defeating Texas A&M-International University 63-48 Thursday night in Laredo.

For the women, the game is equally critical to their playoff hopes. The Rattlers are 1-1, one-half game behind SEU, Incarnate Word and Montana State University-Billings, who all have 2-1 records. St. Mary’s fell to 5-11 overall with a 61-51 loss at Texas A&M-International on Thursday in Laredo. The Rattlers have lost two in a row after winning four of five games.

Both teams will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 24, when they travel to Billings, Mont., for a Heartland Conference game at Montana State-Billings.
