St. Mary’s University will hold commencement exercises for 349 graduate and undergraduate students on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 1:30 p.m.

The ceremony will include students who completed their degree work in both the summer and fall sessions. A total of 201 students will receive bachelor’s degrees, and 148 will receive either master’s or doctorate degrees.

The keynote speaker will be Lt. Gen. John F. Regni, superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy and a St. Mary’s graduate.

Gen. Regni earned his master’s of science degree in systems management from St. Mary’s University in 1981. His career has included a wide range of personnel, training and command assignments. His command tours have included Base Commander and 8th Combat Support Group Commander at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, and Commander of 2nd Air Force and Commander of Air University.
