Drury made 27 of 38 free throws in a 62-58 win over St. Mary’s in the Heartland Conference Tournament final Saturday in Springfield, Mo.
Dadrien Cooper led the Rattlers with 22 points, while Billy White poured in 11 and grabbed nine rebounds.
Drury grabs the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division II National Tournament. St. Mary’s still has a shot at making the tournament as an at-large pick.
The tournament field will be announced on March 7.
