Kyle Hyslop, a sophomore from Alamo Heights, earned Heartland Conference Most Valuable Player honors for women’s soccer, as announced by the conference on Nov. 9.

Hyslop joins seven other Rattler men and women soccer players who have been named to their respective conference’s all-conference teams.

On the women’s side, Kelly Felts (Soph., forward, Helotes, TX.), Rachel Maldonado (Fresh., midfielder, San Antonio) and Kennie Boxill (Soph., defender, San Antonio) join Hyslop as All Conference selections.

For the men, Scott Kilpatrick (Fresh., forward, Converse, TX.), Juan Diego Vidalon (Sr., midfielder, Lima, Peru) and James Cooper (Fresh., defender, Edmond, Okla.) were named second-team All Conference for the Southwest Soccer Conference.

Ben Barling (Jr., forward, Fort Smith, Ark.) and Stephen Kilpatrick (Senior, midfielder, Converse, TX.) were named to the All Academic team for the Southwest Soccer Conference.
