After a solid third round Friday, St. Mary’s Luke Antonelli has jumped back into the top ten in the 2004 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships. Antonelli, a sophomore from Silt, Colo., shot a 1-under 71 in round three to post a two day score of 6-over 222, which places him in a three-way tie for eighth. Antonelli shot even par in the first round, placing him in a tie for fifth, but shot 7-over in round two to drop into 24th. In Friday’s round, Antonelli offset bogeys on holes 1, 2 and 10 by sinking birdies on 3, 6, 8 and 9, which made up for his difficult front nine on Thursday where he recorded six bogeys.

The tournament wraps up on Saturday at the Victoria Hills Golf Club in DeLand, Fla. Complete tournament results can be found at golfstat.com.
