The St. Mary’s men’s basketball team battled back from 10 points down in the first half to beat Drury 69-54 in front of 1,034 fan Thursday night in the Bill Greehey Arena.
Dadrien Cooper scored 18, Billy White scored 13 and Ben Mccain scored 12 for the Rattlers.
The win brings the Rattlers to 11-6 overall and 3-0 in Heartland Conference play. It also gave coach Buddy Meyer his 499th career win.
The Lady Rattlers were led by Erin Griffin’s 18 points, but fell to Drury 72-58 at home.
The loss dropped the Lady Rattlers to 7-9 overall and 1-2 in the Heartland Conference.
