All classes at St. Mary’s University starting at 5 p.m. or later have been cancelled for the night of Tuesday, Feb. 25, due to the inclement weather and icy road conditions. Classes and university office hours will resume their normal schedule in the morning. Any scheduled evening activities at the Center for Legal and Social Justice, 2507 NW 36th St., have been cancelled also.

The Alumni Athletics & Convocation Center, the Diamond Back Cafe, the Blume Academic Libary and the Sarita Kenedy East Law Library will close this evening at 8 p.m. and resume their normal hours on Wednesday morning.

The weather and road conditions forced the delayed opening of the campus earlier in the day, when morning classes were cancelled at the university did not official open until noon. Also cancelled was Tuesday’s scheduled intercollegiate women’s basketball game versus St. Mary’s and Huston-Tillotson College. No makeup date for that game will be scheduled.

Should any changes to Wednesday’s campus work and academic schedule be made, that information will be posted here and made available via the campus main telephone number at 210-436-3011.
