It's our job to help you navigate your transition to life as a student in the United States. Prior to your arrival on campus, we can provide advice for your visa application and entry into the US. After you arrive, we will give you orientation information to explain your rights and responsibilities as an international student and advice on adjusting to American culture. Throughout your study program, we are available to answer your questions about immigration issues, host cultural and social events, and refer you to the appropriate campus and government offices when you need services outside our support. Beyond our technical services, we want to get to know you and ensure that your experience at St. Mary’s is a positive one.

Your first point of contact in the Chaminade office will be Gwen, who can answer questions about F-1 visa regulations, document changes to your home country or US address, explain how to apply for Social Security numbers and Texas IDs, and help you find offices on campus to handle issues not related to immigration. If you need a travel signature or need to change information on your I-20, such as your graduation date, major, or financial information, contact us to schedule an appointment with Jenny.
